As veterinarians, we often wish we had more to offer our patients with cancer, especially when their owners for
whatever reason are not able to take advantage of available referral services.
The answer... join us in Tyler, TX, April 5-6, 2014, for a weekend of "Practical Oncology." Learn "practical" knowledge you can
put to use in your clinic starting on Monday. Our last planned Practical Oncology Seminar will be held in Waco on June 7-8.
We will cover the following important subjects: :
- cancers most commonly seen in small animal practice
- diagnosis and treatment in the trenches
- what we hope to gain for our patients and their owners by referring to a specialist
- the many "how to" applications of chemotherapy
- adjustments to the chemo plan, when things do not go as planned
- rescue therapy
Your registration fee includes a proceedings including copies of all PowerPoint slides, client handouts, in
clinic forms (chemo dose calculators, chemo estimate form, etc.), and handy reference charts for fluid analysis, chemo protocols,
cytology algorithm, diagnosis and treatment of hypercalcemia, special laboratory submission forms, etc. There
is also access to download of the proceedings in .pdf format.
